This comprehensive air adventure starts with a flight from Motueka heading inland over the Abel Tasman’s karst landscape, Harwoods Hole and on to Golden Bay.
Fly over the spectacular mountain wilderness of Kahurangi National Park – home to ancient, imposing geology, extraordinary landscapes and the most diverse of New Zealand’s Parks and experience a remote mountain river landing before continuing onto the wild West Coast for our next landing. Marvel at the rugged and stunning Westcoast before heading on to Westhaven Inlet. Soar over the inlet, a marine and wildlife reserve, and up the Island’s northernmost coast, home to Wharariki beach’s stunning outcrops, arches and caves, all hewn by the sea and home to seal colonies.
At the very tip of the South Island pass above New Zealand’s longest sand spit, Farewell Spit, and on to the sheltered shoreline of Golden Bay. Travel the length of Bay’s glorious beaches and round the Abel Tasman National Park’s most northern edge before heading South, back to Motueka, over the Park’s brilliant blue coastal waters, offshore islands and utterly idyllic scenery.
